Bounty Killer DVD Giveaway
Once again I’ve been contacted by the folks at Partners Hub to host a giveaway. This time it’s for a futuristic shoot-em-up independent movie based on a graphic novel called Bounty Killer. It’s out in limited release this weekend and comes out on DVD next month. Click the picture below to check out the Bounty Killer app and take a look at the trailer.

Based on the graphic novel, Bounty Killer follows the exploits of Mary Death, the leading Bounty Killer on the scene.
It’s been 20 years since the corporations took over the world’s governments. Their thirst for power and profits led to the corporate wars, a fierce global battle that laid waste to society as we know it. Born from the ashes, the Council of Nine rose as a new law and order for this dark age. To avenge the corporations’ reckless destruction, the Council issues death warrants for all white collar criminals. Their hunters: the bounty killers!

Flights, Tights, and Movie Nights 
As much as I am a big fan of Tarantino’s flicks, for example, Kill Bill, Kill Bill 2, Death Proof, etc. My favorite grindhouse type flick is Foxy Brown (1974)! Because Pam Grier was great in her role! And without it, we wouldn’t have had another great Tarantino gem, Jackie Brown (1997). And again, after all these years, Pam Grier was fantastic in her role! And she still looks great for her age, too! 🙂

I have to go with the low budget sci-fi flicks, personally. At least they tend to have a little more meat on them.

Robert Rodriguez’s “Planet Terror!!!!!!! I absolutely loved “Grindhouse!!! Though I am a HUGE Tarantino fan, I definitely prefer “Planet Terror to Tarantino’s “Death Proof”. Both are very good films, but Rodriguez’s feature is one of the most wildly entertaining films ever made.
It’s hard to top Rose McGowan with a machine gun leg.
