FTMN Spotlight – Building Better Superheroes Infographic
Just last week I shared a Superman infographic and shortly afterwards I received another e-mail from someone else who made a superhero-related infographic. Eddie takes a look at various superhero reboots along with a few bits of trivia and decides which one is better. That’s some good work right there. The vector versions of the superheroes at the top and the stick figure-y versions in the “Winner” sections are especially impressive. There’s also a lot of great work with the textures and the color palette. Just… hell, all the way around, it’s great design work.
Weird, I could have sworn I replied to this earlier, must have gotten lost. So much for smartphone technology. While I have put every one of these things that has been sent to me so far, I only share what I think is worthy of sharing. I though this was a great piece for sure.
Under Lou Ferrigno’s “Physique Prep” should be “Enough steroids to kill a medium-sized rhinoceros.”
It’s a nice design, though I wonder how much of a “modern bias” is going on with some of the choices here… I mean, it’s worth noting that Reeve didn’t have the benefit of a costume that was specifically designed to enhance the appearance of musculature….
Also Maguire beats Garfield six ways to Sunday in appearance. Maguire looks like Peter Parker, Garfield doesn’t.
I think McGuire beats Garfield as far as Peter Parker goes but I think Garfield wins as Spiderman hands down
