Filmwhys #67 Notorious and The Shadow
Episode 67 of the Why Haven’t You Seen This Film Podcast where my guest is Kristen Lopez from Journeys in Classic Film among various other sites who asks me why I hadn’t seen Notorious, one of Alfred Hitchcock’s great tales of intrigue and suspense with Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant. In return, I ask her why she hadn’t seen The Shadow, the 90’s revamp of the classic radio drama starring Alec Baldwin set in the 20’s with an oddly classic Hollywood feel to it though it was set in New York.

Filmwhys #50 Psycho and The Spirit
Episode 50 of the Why Haven’t You Seen This Film Podcast where my guest is Ryan McNeil from The Matinee who asks me why I hadn’t seen Alfred Hitchcock’s first horror film and one of his greatest, Psycho. And in return, I ask him why he hadn’t seen a superhero film on the opposite end of the spectrum, one of the worst comic book films out there, Frank Miller’s The Spirit. Filmwhys #16 North by Northwest and Persepolis
I’m back once again with another episode of Filmwhys, aka the Why Haven’t You Seen This Film Podcast. This week my guest is Pat McDonnell of 100 Years of Movies who asks me the question why haven’t I seen North by Northwest, Hitchcock’s classic Cary Grant movie featuring the famous scene of him being chased by a cropduster in the middle of an open field. And in return, I ask him why he hasn’t seen the animated graphic novel adaptation of Marjan Satrapi’s autobiographical Persepolis where she follows her early life living in Iran during a revolution and a war and the oppression of the Islamic Fundamentalists while she is an outspoken woman who eventually flees to spend time in France.
