Greetings all! I’m happy to announce that I will be attending this year’s C2E2 here in Chicago next weekend! I will be there as much as possible all three days and will be doing coverage here throughout that weekend and hopefully through the following week. It’s one of Chicago’s premier comic and entertainment conventions and I am absolutely thrilled that I get the chance to go as a member of the press. Not only will this be the first comic book convention that I will be attending as a member of the press, but it will also be the first comic con that I will be attending period.

If you’ll be attending as well, I’d love to meet you. I will be wearing my Flights, Tights, and Movie Nights T-shirt on at least one of the days. Also, if you have any tips that I should know about things to look out for, things I should definitely do, or anything else from conventions that you’ve been to I’d love to hear them. I’m equal parts excited and nervous as hell, but I hope to be able to share some good coverage of the convention, take a lot of pictures of cosplayers, and who knows what else. My current highlight of the festival is the Marvel’s Kick-Ass Women of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel with Hayley Atwell and Ming Na Wen.
