It’s Time to Rewind: Season 1 week 2

Groundhog Day After Day After Day week 2

It’s been a fun second week of my new podcast It’s Time to Rewind and I hope you give it a listen. We’ve got three new episodes for you and two new guests as we get into some of the shorter loops of Groundhog Day so it made sense to bring back a guest to talk about a few related days in a row. Also, if you haven’t checked out the Facebook Group It’s Time to Rewind: A Time Loop Group I’d love it if you joined to discuss the podcast, share time loop memes, or discuss new or past time loop movies, episodes, or novels and short stories. But let’s get into this week’s episodes, shall we?

Episode 3 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day. I’m joined by guest Rob from The Great Escape Minute and MovieRob to discuss Phil’s third Groundhog Day that starts at 25 minutes and 21 seconds with Sonny and Cher’s I Got You Babe and Phil looking rather unsettled at an intact pencil in the nightstand and ends at 34 minutes and 33 seconds with Phil in a jail cell. And in between we also discuss Harold Ramis playing a neurologist, Phil’s visit to a psychiatrist, and drinking coffee with a couple drunk morons.

Episode 4 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day. I’m joined by guest Jess from French Toast Sunday  to discuss Phil’s fourth February 2nd, Groundhog Day that starts at 34 minutes and 33 seconds with Phil waking up excited to see the morning in his room, asks Miss Lancaster if anyone was looking for him, gives her a kiss and ends at 38 minutes and 46 seconds with Phil asking Nancy a series of questions about her high school English class. We also spend time discussing why anyone would answer those questions so openly to a perfect stranger.

Episode 5 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day. I’m joined once again by guest Jess from French Toast Sunday to discuss Phil’s fifth February 2nd, Groundhog Day that starts at 38 minutes and 46 seconds with Phil waking up although the movie skips over Sonny and Cher and goes straight to the Pennsylvania Polka as Phil meets Nancy at Gobbler’s Knob and ends at 41 minutes even with Phil repeatedly calling Nancy by the name Rita during a make out session and proposes to smooth things over.
