It’s Time to Rewind: Season 1 week 3
Groundhog Day After Day After Day week 3
We made it through another week of shows. In the three episodes this week, we’ve got one returning guest and one new guest as we dive into days 6 through 8 of Groundhog Day. And if you haven’t yet, be sure to come on over and join the Facebook Group It’s Time to Rewind: A Time Loop Group and discuss the episodes as they come out, share memes, and discuss new and old time loop movies or TV shows. But for now, let’s get to this week’s episodes.
Episode 6 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day where I’m joined by guest Jess from French Toast Sunday to discuss Phil’s sixth Groundhog Day that starts at 41 minutes and zero seconds with Phil executing a perfectly planned non-violent armored car robbery and ends at 43 minutes and 18 seconds with Phil and his new, unnamed date dressed in costumes to go see Heidi II for his hundreth time. We also spend a little time wondering what Heidi II might be about, how many women Phil’s taken to see this movie, and whether or not he’s cosplaying.
Episode 7 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day where I’m joined by guest Sean from Next Scene Podcast to discuss Phil’s seventh Groundhog Day that starts at 43 minutes and 18 seconds with Phil giving his Groundhog’s Day report with a slight Clint Eastwood homage before having a conversation with Rita like normal people talk and ends at 46 minutes and 38 seconds with Phil remembering that Rita is going to order Sweet Vermouth on the Rocks with a twist. We also talk about whether or not we actually talk like normal people talk and what Sweet Vermouth actually tastes like.
Episode 8 of It’s Time to Rewind: Groundhog Day After Day After Day where I’m joined once again by Sean from Next Scene Podcast discuss Phil’s eighth Groundhog Day that starts at 46 minutes and 38 seconds with Phil ordering Sweet Vermouth, Rocks with a twist which just so happens to be Rita’s favorite drink and ends at 46 minutes and 38 seconds with Phil discovering what sweet vermouth on the rocks actually tastes like. We also talk about Bill Murray and Andie McDowell’s facial acting in this brief loop.
